This whole project of listing every country's ambassadors seems pointless and impossible - stewacide 10:06 Feb 27, 2003 (UTC)

Greetings. Two points:-

  1. It doesn't say the lists are complete. It is similar to having a list of actors, a list of authors, or whatever. Should we get rid of them, too? I don't think many people are against the idea of having lists. Organising people into categories is a very useful method to make people easy to find.
  2. Making them complete is a distant aim, but not an impossible one. As long as no records of diplomats have been lost, there is no reason why the lists shouldn't eventually become complete.

But the page should have a "List of..." title, for consistency with other such lists. I'll move it. -- Oliver P. 02:31 Feb 28, 2003 (UTC)

This page should really be moved to "List of Ambassadors to the United States" and "List of Ambassadors from the United States", so as not to discriminate against the rest of the world. -- AxSkov 11:18, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
